Life doesn’t always go according to plan.

Sometimes life changes in ways we never expected. A diagnosis. A loss. A relationship ending. A career shift. Those moments can leave us feeling disconnected from the life we imagined—and sometimes even from ourselves. While we can't choose every turn life takes, we don't have to let those events decide the direction of the rest of our lives. Even when life looks different than we imagined, it's still possible to create a life that feels like yours.

Why I do this work

I've always believed that every person is more than the hardest thing that's happened to them.

One of the things I love most about this work is people. I never stop being amazed by the ways people keep showing up for their lives, even after life has changed in ways they never would have chosen. Being around that kind of courage, humor, and determination reminds me what people are capable of. Honestly, it makes me want to live my own life more intentionally, too.

That's why I don't see coaching as giving advice or having the right answers. I see it as creating a space where people feel safe enough to think honestly, reconnect with themselves, and discover their own path forward.

As a Board Certified Coach, I bring professional training, thoughtful questions, and a structured coaching process. But what matters most to me is the relationship we build. You won't find judgment or someone trying to tell you how to live your life. You'll find a thoughtful partner who believes in your ability to create a life that still feels like yours.

What we work on

Together, we will work on things like:

  • Feeling more like yourself again.

  • Making sense of what's changed—and what that means for your life now.

  • Figuring out what matters most to you in this new chapter.

  • Making decisions that feel true to who you are.

  • Responding to stress and uncertainty without letting them take over.

  • Creating a life that still feels like yours.

This isn't about fixing you. It's about helping you reconnect with yourself and create a life that feels like yours.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing what to do next. It's believing you can love your life again.

“Rachel McElroy is a joy to work with. My coaching experience with her was helpful as I was working through fear and anxiety during a transitional time in my life. Rachel helped me develop tools to help me navigate through this difficult time.”

This work may be a good fit if…

  • You're wondering if you'll ever feel like yourself again.

  • Life looks different than you expected, and you're trying to figure out what comes next.

  • You want a thoughtful partner—not someone to tell you what to do.

  • You're ready to stop just getting through each day and start building a life that feels like yours again.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.

How this work is different

This work is not about diagnosis, advice, or fixing what’s wrong.

This isn't about someone telling you how to live your life.

It's about having a thoughtful partner who helps you slow down, think clearly, and reconnect with yourself so you can make decisions that feel right for you.

Together, we'll focus less on what you can't change and more on what is still yours to shape.
